The trial

The Sanhedrin could not hold trials at night (Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:1)

The Sanhedrin could not conduct cases during Jewish holidays (Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:1)

Mishnah Sanhedrin 4.1

"Both cases of monetary law and cases of capital law are equal with regard to the requirement for inquiry and interrogation of the witnesses, as it is stated: “You shall have one manner of law” (Leviticus 24:22), meaning that all legal procedures must be uniform. (...) cases of capital law are judged by a court of twenty-three judges.(...) And in cases of capital law, the court opens the deliberations with a claim to acquit the accused, but it does not open the deliberations with a claim to find him liable. (...) in cases of capital law, the court directs the judgment based on a majority of one judge to acquit and based on a majority of two judges to find liable. (...) In cases of capital law, the court brings the accused back to be judged again with a claim to acquit him, but the court does not bring him back to be judged with a claim to find him liable.(...) In cases of capital law, all those present at the trial may teach a reason to acquit the accused, but not all present may teach a reason to find him liable. Only the judges can teach a reason to find him liable. (...) In cases of capital law, one who initially teaches a reason to find him liable may then teach a reason to acquit, but one who initially teaches a reason to acquit may not return and teach a reason to find him liable. (...) In cases of capital law, the court judges during the daytime, and concludes the deliberations and issues the ruling only in the daytime. (...) In cases of capital law, the court may conclude the deliberations and issue the ruling even on that same day to acquit the accused, but must wait until the following day to find him liable. Therefore, since capital cases might continue for two days, the court does not judge cases of capital law on certain days, neither on the eve of Shabbat nor the eve of a Festival."

Mishnah Sanhedrin 11:2

4  "...On the first day of the week....": באחד בשבת
7  "....On the fifth day of the week....": חמשה בשבת
8 "...On the third day of the week...": בשלושה בשבת

The word "μια" means "one" (and not first = πρωτη = prote, Mk 16:9), "των" means "the" and "σαββατων" means "Sabbaths" (plural)
According Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words (see p. 810), the expression “one of the sabbaths” signifies “the first day after the sabbath.”
These turns of phrase comes from a ancient hebraic way of keeping track of the week, asit counts each day from the sabbath: one (counting) from the sabbath, two from the sabbath, three from the sabbath, etc.

The values of the week days:

Friday is the "preperation" day. That day, the body of Messiah was prepared by the women for burial.
Sabbath is the day of "rest". That day, the body of Messiah rested in the tomb.
Sunday is the 1st day of the week, it is a new beginning. That day, Messiah was resurrected by GOD, as first fruits.

A Synchronized Account of the three Gospels merged into one:

The Betrayal, Crucifixion & Resurrection of Messiah, son of Mary.

Luke 2:41-43 Every year his parents went to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem) for the Feast (ἑορτῇ) of the פסח Pessah (Passover). And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the Feast (ἑορτῆς). When those days (τας  ἡμέρας) were over and they were returning home while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), but they were unaware of it.

---

Luke 8:1 After this, Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of ALHYM (GOD). The Twelve were with him,

Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the Law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

---

Matthew 12:38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the Law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

Matthew 12:39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Yonah.

Luke 11:29 As the crowds were increasing, Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) said, “This is a wicked generation. It demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Yonah.

Luke 11: 30 For as Yonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so the son of man will be a sign to this generation.

Matthew 12:40 For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the son of man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jonah 1:17 Now YHWH had appointed a great fish to swallow Yonah, and Yonah spent three days and three nights in the belly of the fish.

Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Yonah, and now something greater than Yonah is here.

Luke 11:32 The men of Nineveh will stand at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Yonah, and now something greater than Yonah is here.

Matthew 12:42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.

Luke 11:31 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now something greater than Solomon is here.

First prediction of the Resurrection

Luke 9:21 Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone.

Luke 9:22 “The son of man must suffer many things,” he said. “he must be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.”

Matthew 16:21 From that time on Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) began to show his disciples that he must go to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem) and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

Mark 8:31 Then he began to teach them that the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

Mark 8:32 He spoke this message quite frankly, and Kefa (Peter) took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Matthew 16:22 Kefa (Peter) took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Far be it from you, Master!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

Matthew 16:23 But Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) turned and said to Kefa (Peter), “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me. For you do not have in mind the things of ALHYM (GOD), but the things of men.”

Mark 8:33 But Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ), turning and looking at his disciples, rebuked Kefa (Peter) and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you do not have in mind the things of ALHYM (GOD), but the things of men.”

Second prediction of the Resurrection

Mark 9:30 Going on from there, they passed through Galilee. But Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) did not want anyone to know,

Mark 9:31a   because he was teaching his disciples. ....

Matthew 17:22 When they gathered together in Galilee, Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) told them, “The son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.

Luke 9:44 “Let these words sink into your ears: The son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.”

Matthew 17:23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.

Mark 9:31b .... He told them, “The son of man will be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise.”

Mark 9:32 But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask him about it.
Luke 9:45 But they did not understand this statement. It was veiled from them so that they could not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Third Prediction of the Resurrection

Mark 10:32 As they were going up the road to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) was walking ahead of them. The disciples were amazed, but those who followed were afraid. Again Yehusha took the twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to him:

Matthew 20:17 As Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) was going up to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), he took the twelve disciples aside and said,

Luke 18:31 Then Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) took the twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), and everything the prophets have written about the son of man will be fulfilled.

Luke 18:32 He will be delivered over to the goyim (gentiles) and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.

Luke 18:33 They will flog him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.”

Matthew 20:18 “Look, we are going up to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), and the son of man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death

Matthew 20:19   and will deliver him over to the goyim (gentiles) to be mocked and flogged and crucified. And on the third day he will be raised to life.”

Mark 10:33 “Look, we are going up to ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem), and the son of man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death and will deliver him over to the goyim (gentiles),

Mark 10:34 who will mock him and spit on him and flog him and kill him. And after three days he will rise again.”

Luke 18:34 But the disciples did not understand any of these things. The meaning was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what he was saying.

Passover is coming

Matthew 26:1 And it happened, when Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples,

Matthew 26:2 You know that P'ss'h (פסח Passover) is coming after two days, and the Son of Man is betrayed to be crucified.

Mark 14:1a And after two days was the פסח Pessah (Passover) namely M'tzh' (Unleavened Bread),

Luke 22:1 And the Feast of M'tzh' (Unleavened Bread), being called פסח Pessah (Passover), drew near.

Matthew 26:3 Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas.

Matthew 26:4 And they plotted together in order that they might seize Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) by guile and kill him.

Mark 14:1b … and the chief priests and scribes were seeking with deception how they might seize him and kill him.

Luke 22:2 And the chief priests and the scribes sought how to destroy him; for they feared the people.

Matthew 26:5 But they said, Not during the Feast, that there be no turmoil among the people.

Mark 14:2 But they said, Not during the Feast, lest there will be a tumult of the people.

Mark 14:3 And he being in (בית־תאנה Bethany) in the house of Shimon the potter, as he reclined, a woman came, having an alabaster vial of pure, costly ointment of nard. And breaking the alabaster vial, she poured it over the leader.

Matthew 26:8 But seeing, his disciples were indignant, saying, For what is this waste?

Mark 14:4 And some were being offended within themselves, and saying, To what has this waste of the ointment occurred?

Matthew 26:9 For this ointment could have been sold for much and be given to the poor.

Mark 14:5 For this could be sold for over three hundred denarii, and to be given to the poor. And they were angry with her.

Matthew 26:10 But knowing, Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) said to them, Why do you cause trouble to the woman? For she worked a good work toward me.

Mark 14:6 But Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) said, Let her alone. Why do you cause her troubles? She worked a good work toward me.

Matthew 26:11 For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me.

Mark 14:7 For you have the poor with you always, and when you wish, you can do well toward them. But you do not have me always.

Matthew 26:12 For in putting this ointment on my body, she did it in order to bury me.

Mark 14:8 What this one held, she did. She took beforehand to anoint my body for the burial.

Matthew 26:13 Truly I say to you, Wherever this good news is proclaimed in all the world, what she did will be spoken off for a memorial of her.

Mark 14:9 Truly I say to you, Wherever this good news is proclaimed in all the world, what this one did will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Luke 22:5 And they exulted, and they agreed to give him silver.

Luke 22:25 And Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) said to them, The kings of the goyim (gentiles) are their masters and those who are authorities over them are called doers of good.

Luke 22:26 But you be not so, but the greater among you, let him be as the lesser; and the one governing as the one serving.

The Trial Day

(Mishnah Sanhedrin 4.1 " In cases of capital law, the court judges during the daytime, and concludes the deliberations and issues the ruling only in the daytime. (...) In cases of capital law, the court may conclude the deliberations and issue the ruling even on that same day to acquit the accused, but must wait until the following day to find him liable. Therefore, since capital cases might continue for two days, the court does not judge cases of capital law on certain days, neither on the eve of Shabbat nor the eve of a Festival.")

Luke 23:7 And knowing that he is from Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him up to Herod, he also being in ירושלים Yrûslym (Jerusalem) in these days.

Luke 23:15 But neither did Herod, for I sent you up to him; and, behold, nothing worthy of death is done by him.

Luke 23:16 Therefore chastising him, I will release him.

Choosing between Yehûshö (יהושׁעַ) or BarAbba (down from the Feast)

(2596 katá (a preposition, governing two grammatical cases) – properly, "down from, i.e. from a higher to a lower plane, with special reference to the terminus (end-point)" (J. Thayer).)

Matthew 27:15 And down from the Feast (kατὰ ἑορτὴν), the governor customarily released one prisoner to the crowd, whom they wished.

Mark 15:6 And down from the Feast, he released to them one prisoner, whomever they asked.
